Luke White

Sydney-born and raised Luke White has become a mainstay of US rugby since the professional game began to truly grow in America. White is the only player to have featured in every round of professional rugby in the USA. White was part of the Glendale Raptors in the Pacific Rugby Premiership, then the premier competition in the USA. White’s Raptors won that competition in 2015 and he made a further stamp, named the squad’s best player in the 2016 season.

White made the move to the Denver Stampede in PRO Rugby a year later, going on to be part of the team’s winning 2016 campaign. When MLR began in 2018, White featured for the Colorado Raptors in the competition and quickly became one of its premier players. The Raptors finished second in 2018 and in 2019, White stepped up as co-captain of the squad. That same season, White had the most carries and racked up the most metres gained by a forward in the competition. He was named sole captain of the Raptors in 2020 and totalled 60 caps before the cancellation of the 2020 season, and the news the Raptors wouldn’t be part of the competition in 2021.

He has thrown himself into American rugby away from playing as well. White was an assistant coach with Harvard in 2019 and 2020 as well.
